i fancy the idea of making books. or modifying books, in some cases. some books are ok on their own, others aren't so good. i like strawberry preserves, you know? sometimes, i'll wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning and go sit in front of the open fridge door, eating spoonfuls of preserves before going back to troubled sleep. strawberry preserves is excellent on its own, but you can mate it with peanut butter, and you can mate that mess with bread, which turns out to be pretty good. you can also throw that triumvirate in a skillet, making it even better (or worse). books are like that, too.
